About Auditing.nl
Auditing.nl was launched by ESAA (Erasmus University) and Auditing & Consulting Services (ACS) as a part of their post-master study in internal/ operational auditing. The website is a dynamic, interactive knowledge centre created by and for internal auditors. It is a platform on which internal auditors at all career and experience levels, and from the business as well as the government sectors, can exchange knowledge, share their expertise and develop practical know-how.
Another goal of the site is to collect money to fund academic research and make the results accessible to practitioners, thereby fostering professional development in the field of internal auditing. Membership is free, but sign-up requests are reviewed based on the information you provide, and you or your organisation can be asked to make a voluntary contribution to assist us in achieving the above objectives. The site’s bank account is administered by the treasurer of the Auditing.nl foundation: "Stichting Auditing.nl". Funds are allocated within the framework of the site’s objectives according to the recommendations of a committee of researchers and auditors.
The people and institutions behind Auditing.nl place a great deal of store in the concept of ‘quality’. In fact, it was a guiding principle in developing the site. And it remains a vital aspect in terms of the site’s day-to-day use by members. Accordingly, all contributions and documents are evaluated by a qualified editorial board before being posted on the site.

We continue to work on the functionalities that can be performed on Auditing.nl. We have been able to accept and post contributions since February, and new functionalities are being added throughout the year.

Over Auditing.nl
Auditing .nl is een initiatief van de postdoctorale opleiding Internal/operational auditing van ESAA en Auditing & Consulting Services (ACS). Auditing .nl is een interactief en dynamisch knowledge-center voor en door internal auditors. De website biedt internal auditors van alle (ervarings)niveaus uit zowel het bedrijfsleven als de overheid een platform om kennis en ervaringen te delen en praktijkgerichte kennis te ontwikkelen.
Verder is ons doel met deze site gelden te verzamelen om wetenschappelijk onderzoek op het gebied van internal auditing mogelijk te maken en voor de praktijk te ontsluiten en hierdoor de ontwikkeling van het vakgebied internal auditing te bevorderen. Het lidmaatschap van de site is gratis. Wel wordt uw aanvraag tot deelname op basis van uw persoonsgegevens beoordeeld en kan u als persoon of organisatie worden gevraagd een vrijwillige bijdrage te doen om de hiervoor genoemde doelstellingen te realiseren. De bankrekening wordt beheerd door de penningmeester van de Stichting Auditing.nl. Een commissie van wetenschappers/auditors besluit over de besteding van deze bijdragen binnen de doelstelling van Auditing .nl .
De initiatiefnemers hebben het begrip ‘kwaliteit’ hoog in het vaandel staan. Dit heeft bij de ontwikkeling van de site als een belangrijk uitgangspunt gediend. Ook bij het dagelijks gebruik door de leden van de site is ‘kwaliteit’ van het grootste belang. Alle bijdragen en documenten worden daarom door een gekwalificeerde redactieraad beoordeeld voordat ze worden geplaatst.
U kunt zelf een bijdrage leveren aan Auditing .nl, meldt u daarom nu aan als lid. Ook kunt u zich abonneren op onze nieuwsbrief die u op de hoogte houdt van de ontwikkelingen.
Aan de functionaliteiten van Auditing .nl wordt regelmatig gewerkt. Ook u kunt een bijdragen leveren. Heeft u suggesties, vragen, op- en/of aanmerkingen stuur dan een e-mail naar het secretariaat van de redactieraad.
